Taking Design To Masses
The true purpose of Design is to ENHANCE LIFESTYLE not INCREASE CONSUMERISM.
This realization imposes unprecedented responsibility on platforms like the IIID, to motivate its stakeholders, the professional designer and those associated with implementation and management of design, to take their services to all segments of our multicultural, multi economic and increasingly young, demographic.
IMAGINE - IIIDNATCON 2016, the Eleventh National Convention of the Institute of Indian Interior Designers - IIID, hosted by the INDORE CHAPTER, from 18th to 20th February 2016 will attempt to collectively challenge the largely established perception that Interior Design is reserved for an exclusive elite segment of society.
With inspiration from nationally and internationally acclaimed Design Professionals, IMAGINE, being held in one of the country’s largest and best equipped, convention venues is being readied to bring together over two thousand delegates from Twenty Nine Chapters of the IIID, making up a membership strength of Ten Thousand Designers and associated professionals, to work towards shaping opinions and establishing policies that encourage Socially Responsible Practice and identify tools that will help Integrate Design Sensibilities with Contemporary Technologies in this environment of blurring economic and cultural boundaries
India, positioned as a global force, requires the power of Design to prepare and equip its masses for this epic transition.
THEMES:
DESIGNS THAT MATTER TO MASSES.
DESIGN THAT CATER TO MASSES.
DESIGN THAT CELEBRATE TO MASSES.
