Dear rocking members of the hrc family,
As the New Year begins, I would like to share my immense joy and sincere gratitude with each one of you for making 2015 a watershed year for us at the IIID Hyderabad Chapter. You were the inspiration and the wind beneath our wings. It was a year where we celebrated Design and showed the passion of the Hyderabad Chapter to the world.

The Insider-X Design Showcase in January last year demonstrated that as a unified team, we are a force to be reckoned with. Each of you stepped up to the plate and helped us achieve the most unbelievable deadlines and targets, which was possible because we pulled together as a single entity. Thank you for motivating us to reach beyond our comfort levels.

In the last quarter, we had an incredible range of fellowship events and talks. Our objective was to deliver total quality and value for the time you spent with us. It has been a year of learning new things and planning effectively. Yes, that is what it takes to propel this vibrant organisation forward.

In the last few months, the hrc committee has been in full swing, preparing for the upcoming mega event–the 20th anniversary celebrations of the Hyderabad Chapter. Aptly titled Jashn-e-Design, the weeklong carnival of design will feature a jamboree of design–centric events including talks, heritage walks, national and international speakers and the much-awaited IIID Showcase Insider-X 2016. The idea is to seamlessly reach and integrate the different verticals–designers, traders and the academic fraternity on a single forum. We are looking forward to your presence and your help at what is being positioned as the largest design event of its kind that Hyderabad has witnessed so far.

Our CSR initiatives were a driving force for us. We are proud to share with you that your Chapter has been actively involved in the Gadhwal weaver rehabilitation project where we have provided raw materials to the weavers of Naguladinne and Rajouli villages. Taking this initiative forward, we have now placed firm orders with them for the Insider-X 2016 Expo.

Chalo Indore! The Indore NatCon will be held in the middle of February 2016. The Chalo Indore Whatsapp group is already buzzing with activity. Enroll before registrations close and let us take a huge contingent from Hyderabad to the Convention.
