Tour to Club Utopia, Vapi/ "Touch the Brick" with Ar. Chandrashekhar Kanetkar & Visit to Nitco Marble Factory, Silvasa.

USP: This is the great example wherein a small scale, small budget program has been evolved into a Wholesome Package !!!

INITIATION: The topic was initiated by Chairman Elect Mr. Hasmukh Shah & Chairperson Ar. Leena Nimbalkar with sponsor Mr. Vivek Talwar, Nitco was to have a day tour to Nitco factory & Club Utopia. 

CURATION: The "Touch the Brick" event was the outcome of brain storming sessions with Chairperson IIID MRC, Ar. Chandrashekhar, Nitco & eventually with Pune Chapter too became part of all ballgame. This gave birth to idea "Fellowship Event" with Pune Chapter. 

SPONSOR: The Nitco then took a lead to invite Mumbai & Pune chapter's committee members n other few members from both the cities. This event was planned as an opportunity for Mumbai & Pune members to visit the famous Nitco factory & learn the journey of marble blocks that are sourced from over 250 countries and shaped into exquisite pieces of splendor! The technical & aesthetic know how about the famous Nitco marble was well learned by IIID members. 

TOUCH THE BRICK: The Club Utopia was an architectural marvel & members were amazed to learn the journey from "Ordinary to Extraordinary" over Chitchat with Ar. Chandrashekhar Kanetkar. The kind courtesy was from Club Utopia for their warm welcome over delicious snacks, tea n coffee. Overnight stay, fellowship n dinner was at Hotel Treat, Silvasa; courtesy by sponsor Nitco.

FELLOWSHIP: The fellowship was planned in between Mumbai & Pune; two neighborhood Chapters coming together for the first time with the initiative from Mumbai Regional Chapter. Unfortunately due to some unforeseen difficulties only few Pune members could able to Touch the Brick with IIID MRC & Ar. Chandrashekhar Kanetkar. 

SUPPORT: Mr. Hasmukh Shah, Chairman elect /convener & Mr. Mukesh Doshi, Special Invitee took lead; while as all committee members supported the event.
