1. COMMERCIAL SPACES - A & B:
(Commercial Spaces-A: Built-up Areas up to 3000 sq.ft) and
(Commercial Spaces -B: Built-up Areas more than 3000 sq.ft)

2. PUBLIC SPACES - A & B:
(Public Spaces-A: Built-up Areas up to 3000 sq.ft) and
(Public Spaces-B: Built-up Areas more than 3000 sq.ft)

Art Galleries, Super markets, Anchor Stores, Auditoriums, Theaters, Showrooms, Museums, Entertainment Centers, Display Areas.

Interiors of Residential Flat / Model Flat / Duplex Flat in Apartment.

Interiors of Residential Bungalow / Independent Villas / Farm House.

(Hospitality-A: Built-up Areas up to 5000 sq.ft) and
(Hospitality-B: Built-up Areas more than 5000 sq.ft)

Hotels, Restaurants, Guest Houses, Resorts, BAR Lounges, Clubs, Discotheques and Salon & Spa.

6. Health Care:

Hospitals, Clinics and Day Care Centers.

7. Interior Landscape:

Projects showcasing use of interior landscape applications in Interior layout which adds ambience and life in design. Terrace, Decks, Courtyard & Covered Areas.

8. Product Design:

Any product/furniture indigenously designed and made for any Interior Project. Products Designed and produced for retail market or for any built space indoor or outdoor or any innovative design details that address a critical aspect in interior construction. Products may include systems design for Kitchens, Wardrobes, Storage, Display, Work stations etc., Furniture, Furnishings, Accessories such as Light fixtures, Mirrors etc., Hardware, Doors, Ceilings etc.

9. Installation:

It can be a part of any built space. As Installations, Wall murals, Art pieces, etc.

10. Young Designer:

Designers age 27 years or less as on 31st December 2023, in any above design categories.

11. Social Relevance:

An interior design project that directly impacts society through its concept, value addition & execution in sustaining resources for community benefit or using human creative skill sets.

IIID HRC invites entries from Interior Designers of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, to Participate in IIID-HRC DESIGN EXCELLENCE AWARDS 2024 for Designers from Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. These Awards will recognize your design and adjudge them on different parameters viz. originality, creativity, functionality, space planning, environmental responsibility, fidelity to clients brief and cost effectiveness. The winners will be announced in the IIID-HRC DESIGN EXCELLENCE AWARDS NITE that will be held in the month of May 2024.

To Participate your design should have been created and completed in the year January 2022 to January 2024.


  1. Participant should have their head office in Telangana or Andhra Pradesh.
  2. IIID members should not have membership subscription dues and Non-members can submit IIID membership form for membership or submit with the award entries in a separate.
  3. Entries in all the categories must be completed between January 2022 to January 2024.
  4. A participant can send only ONE entry in Each category, under his / her name, Each Entry should be submitted with separate Entry Form and Fees.
  5. Each Entry MUST be submitted with the Guidelines Outlined below:

    (A) Submit TWO Panel of A2 size jpg/jpeg (up to 5 mb each) panels in Landscape mode only with 1.5" strip to be left clear at the bottom. At right side of the strip, you will have to put unique project ID number which will be sent to you in email along with upload link post successful payment.

    (B)
    • Panel No 1 should contain Design Concept, Drawings, Sketches, Plans, Elevation and Section with the USP of the project in not more than 150 words. The USP should be mentioned in top right hand corner of the panel.
    • Panel No 2 should contain Photographs with high resolution clarity (minimum of 6 photos).
    • Location – city name only
    • Cost / sq.ft in Rupees
    • Context – description of immediate surroundings.
    • any other relevant information.
    • Upload max 10 High resolution photographs and drawing of the project (upto 2 mb per image (300 dpi))
    • Upload max 1 PPT (upto 25 mb ) (Presentation must compulsory)
    • Upload a short video of the project (max size 25MB, without any transition effects) of not more than 3-minute duration and .mp4 format. (Optional)
    • Only completed projects must be submitted.
    • 3D renders are not allowed, if found project submission will be disqualified in the 1st round itself.
  6. The Committee reserves the rights to Publish the designs submitted as entries in any Indian Magazine, the winner and runner ups are refrained from publishing their works for the period of Six months.
  7. Young Designers need to submit Proof and Age along with the Entry Form.
  8. Team of Jury Members May visit actual Place of short-listed entries. Participant should not have any objection for the Jury visit. Objection to this clause may tend to disqualification. Visit to actual place is subjected to Jury’s discretion. The Organizers / Jury reserves the rights to transfer competition entries to an appropriate category. The decision of the Jury will be Final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. All the materiel submitted for the awards shall become the property of IIID-HRC and deemed to have the necessary publication release rights. It could also be used for the publicity purpose or exhibition purpose without further notification to, or clearance from the participants.
  9. The Jury will be in two stages. Stage 01 will be short listing of entries by the panel of Jury members. Stage 02 will be one to one presentation by short-listed participant to Jury members. Venue and time for stage 02 will be conveyed later.

    1. Participants shall not mention Name of the interior work / project or Designer anywhere on the panel or on the sheets or in the photographs. The name should not be featured anywhere in the PPT presentation. Failure to do so will invite disqualification.
    2. In category 10 the Principal of the Practice shall not be more than 27 years of age on the date of submission.
    3. The Organizers / Jury reserve the right to transfer competition entries to an appropriate category, if found otherwise.
    4. The decision of the jury will be final and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
    5. The organizers / Jury reserve the right to withhold the award not deemed to meet the required standards in any category.
    6. All material submitted for the Awards shall become property of IIID and be deemed to have the necessary publication rights. It can be used for publicity / documentation purpose without further notification to or clearance from participants concerned.
    7. The Office Bearers of the National Executive Committee of IIID, the Awards Committee Members and others directly associated with the Awards are not eligible to participate in the competition.
    8. Names of all the winners/ runners up / certificate of merit will be announced during IIID-HRC Design Excellence Awards Night.
    9. It is assumed that all information given by the participant is factual. If found otherwise, the entry shall be disqualified & any awards/ certificate, if given will be forfeited.
    10. The Last Date of Submission of entries is 6.00 pm on Saturday, 30th March 2024.
    11. Following guidelines, rules & regulations will be applicable and binding on all participants including international category.
